ProQuip Golf, Scotland’s leading all-weather golf apparel company, has appointed IDS Golf as its new sales agent for North West England.
Ian Singleton and Tom Hicklin of IDS Golf will represent ProQuip with immediate effect and service green-grass retail accounts across an area spanning from northern Wales to Scotland’s southern border.

This will benefit existing customers and interest retailers who may be reviewing their current apparel line-up and wish to re-engage with ProQuip and its brand stable.”
Originally from Clitheroe, Lancashire, Singleton undertook PGA training after leaving school and became Head Professional at Flixton Golf Club upon graduation.
He swapped Clitheroe for California, USA, to take up a coaching position before returning to the UK and founding his sales agency working with brands including Ecco, Bridgestone, Sunderland, Glenmuir, Brand Fusion and G/FORE.
Singleton founded IDS Golf in 2004 and recruited Tom Hicklin, a former Assistant PGA Professional, in 2024.

IDS Golf will also carry Ashworth Golf clothing as part of its partnership with ProQuip, under its exclusive UK and Ireland distribution agreement to supply golf wear from the iconic Californian golf and lifestyle brand. Tom Hicklin will lead on Ashworth sales in North West England, with support from Ian.
